The Story Behind "a wylde heirloom original"

The phrase a wylde heirloom original is deeply personal to me.

Wylde is my maiden name and it represents the family roots that shaped who I am. I grew up in the country, spending endless hours outdoors, playing in my backyard field, picking dandelions, making bracelets out of tied-together white clover, watching the sunset, admiring the pretty skies....making memories that seemed ordinary at the time but have become some of the most treasured parts of my life.

Those experiences taught me something I carry with me today: the moments that matter most are often the ones we don't realize we're living.

The dandelions woven throughout my brand are a quiet nod to those childhood days and the people who made them meaningful. They remind me where I came from and why preserving memories feels so important.

Photography, for me, is more than creating beautiful images. It's about preserving connection. It's about remembering who was there, how life felt in that season and the people who shaped your story. Every image I create is intended to become an heirloom. The laughter, the milestones and the everyday moments that one day become the memories you miss most and wish you could experience just one more time.
